Communities are urged to report abuses safely using dedicated hotlines, such as the ICE Reporting Hotline organized by Iowa MMJ. Citizens and residents should be vigilant and informed about their rights to ensure their safety and that of others. Furthermore, abuses like non-consensual medical procedures, including hysterectomies reported in detention centers, constitute grave violations of human rights. These acts, alongside reports of chemical exposure and physical harm, emphasize the necessity of awareness and activism to protect vulnerable populations. The widespread mischaracterization of these illegal acts as lawful enforcement efforts only serves to perpetuate harm and erode public trust. Legal experts and civil rights defenders remind us that standing idle in the face of these offenses only enables continued violation of human rights.
