... Read moreAs a mom navigating this challenging path, I've learned firsthand how easy it is to fall into the trap of comparing myself to others. Whether it was through social media or casual conversations, judging other moms sometimes felt automatic. But over time, I realized this mindset only breeds negativity and stress. One key lesson I've embraced is that every mom's situation is unique—different financial circumstances, parenting styles, and personal struggles shape each mother's experience. Focusing on someone else's choices or financial status doesn't improve our own lives or theirs. Instead, supporting and encouraging fellow moms fosters a community where we're all stronger together. In my experience, shifting the focus from judgment to empathy made a noticeable difference. Instead of counting money or criticizing decisions that don't affect me directly, I now try to uplift moms by offering kind words, sharing helpful advice, or simply acknowledging their efforts. This approach creates a positive space where we can all feel seen and valued. Of course, this doesn’t mean ignoring problems or pretending everything is perfect. Rather, it means respecting boundaries and recognizing that if we're not directly involved in someone’s family life—helping raise their children or contributing financially—we should let them live authentically without unsolicited scrutiny. If you find yourself caught in comparison or judgment, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on how that affects your well-being and relationships. Choosing to support rather than scroll past with criticism can make motherhood a little lighter for everyone involved. Together, we can build a culture of kindness, understanding, and real connection among moms navigating this incredible journey.

Unhealthy things I am unlearning as a mom 🌸
Being a good mom is my top priority. 1. Punishing emotions. I will not get my daughter in trouble for yelling at me, crying, or anything else. If you were crying and somebody told you you have no reason to be, or that they’ll give you a reason to cry, how would you feel? Worse? 2. Shaming.
