this postpartum journey has been that, a journey. so so proud of my body and carrying both me and my son through pregnancy and continuing to nourish my son and allow him to grow is truly magic.

women are under so much pressure to “bounce back” and for me that has not been my journey. I’m almost 6 months pp, i gained 64 lbs in pregnancy and still have 34 of those to lose to be “pre pregnancy” weight.

I didn’t snap back. I’m moving my body with intention. I want to be the healthiest and strongest version of myself for my son but I’m not going to hate myself into a healthier body. Taking it day by day but my body grew an entire human being and my body is keeping that human being alive daily.

That IS getting back to business 🩵

Postpartum is hard enough without added pressure to look like you didn’t have a baby.

beautifully said... I am 6 months pp with baby #4, my oldest is almost 8... I haven't been pre pregnancy weight in a very long time. I am done having kids though so maybe soon I'll be able to actually focus on myself. ❤️
