Focaccia Bread

Focaccia

Ingredients:

4 Cup Flour (Bread preferred, but AP OK)

2 Teaspoon Salt

2 Teaspoon Yeast

2 Cup Lukewarm Water

Olive Oil for Greasing

-In large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and yeast.

-Make well in middle of dry mix and pour in water.

-Use a spatula to mix together until you get a shaggy dough.

-Cover dough with a little bit of oil, cover and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.

-Uncover, grab one corner of dough and pull it onto itself. Repeat for remaining 3 corners. Cover with more oil and rest another 30 minutes.

-Repeat the previous grab and fold, then proof another 30 minutes.

-Add a generous amount of oil to your baking pan, then turn your dough out on it. You can let it rest on the counter for 30 minutes to an hour, or in your fridge for 12 hours.

-Preheat oven to 425F. If there are toppings you want to add on top like rosemary, parmesan, etc, now is the time to add. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

-Always let bread cool completely before cutting. Cutting too soon will cause inside to be gummy.

Bread Dipping Sauce:

8 Tablespoon Olive Oil

3 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar

1/2 Mixed Olives

1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano

1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

1 Sprig Rosemary

1 Handful Parsley

4 Basil Leaves

1 Clove Garlic

1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
