It rained afternoon in the city he once loved the most.
"Key" stood in front of the old building. His hands clenched a letter until he was creased.
The handwriting inside is still familiar... the same person he thought would be together for the rest of his life.
But now only the word "sorry" is left.
No explanation, no reason, just a quiet departure.
He should be angry... should curse, should hate
But it's strange that his heart won't do that.
Because everything, there's still an "old-day picture" stacked full of heads.
When they were laughing together, when they were holding hands, walking in the rain.
"Still standing here?"
One loud voice from behind.
The key turned slowly.
"Rain" stood under the umbrella, and his eyes were still, and he had not changed.
The one who dumped him three years ago.
"Why come?" Keys asked, a dry voice.
Rain was a little quiet before talking softly.
"Just... come through."
The answer is disturbing, even though it seems normal.
The anger should have crept up.
But nothing. It's just exhaustion.
"Do you hate us?" asked Rain.
Key laughed softly without emotion.
"Maybe before."
He looked at the rain falling on the ground.
"But now... I don't want to carry anything like that anymore."
Quiet again.
The wind blows stronger. It seems to blow away the past.
Rain moved a little closer.
"If you can go back..."
"Don't," Key cut the script immediately.
The sound was still, but very heavy.
"Don't go back to it. I'm tired."
He turned to look straight at Rain.
"Life is not meant to be angry repeatedly."
It's still raining.
But this time it's not the same.
Key walked backwards. Didn't run. Didn't run.
Just... just walked out
"Good luck."
The last sentence he said
And then turned away.
Not because of forgetting
But because "I don't want to hurt anymore."
Rain stood there for a very long time.
Until the key disappeared from the rain
And he just understood later that
