That’s so good!🎃👻👩💕💕
Hey everyone! Olivia here, and I'm absolutely thrilled to finally share my latest creation with you – my ultimate Halloween LOOK for this year! I know many of you might be wondering about the face behind the spooky vibes, and today I want to give you a little peek into my world and the journey behind this transformation. I really love how this turned out, and I hope it inspires some of your own eerie endeavors! My inspiration for this look actually started with a dive into classic horror aesthetics, but I wanted to give it a unique twist. I’ve always been fascinated by the elegance and intensity of Japanese style horror and folklore, and that's where the idea of a 'Dark Doll' truly began to blossom. I imagined a doll, once beautiful, now imbued with a slightly unsettling, spooky aura. It's not about being overtly terrifying, but rather creating a sense of haunting beauty that draws you in. Think less jump-scare, more psychological thriller! To achieve this Dark Doll effect, I focused heavily on the eyes and lips. For the eyes, I went for a really dramatic, almost exaggerated, kohl-rimmed look, extending the lines to give that wide-eyed, slightly vacant doll stare. I used a mix of deep purples and grays to create shadows that hinted at both Death and a touch of the Demon, blending them softly to maintain an artistic edge rather than just harsh lines. The skin was kept very pale, almost porcelain-like, which really made the darker elements pop. One of the key Materials I used was a high-pigment, long-lasting black eyeliner for precision and a matte finish foundation for that flawless, doll-like base. For the lips, I opted for a deep, blood-red shade with a slight gradient, giving a nod to the 'Blood Fire' concept without going too gorey. It adds a touch of macabre romance, wouldn't you agree? I also experimented with subtle contouring to sharpen my features, mimicking the delicate structure of a doll. Beyond just the makeup, the overall styling was crucial. I paired the look with some intricate hair styling, reminiscent of traditional Japanese aesthetics but with a Dark twist. Maybe some braided elements or even incorporating some delicate, slightly withered flowers. I thought about adding elements of a Fairy gone rogue, or even a subtle nod to a Scarecrow with a tattered, elegant accessory. It's all about building a character! This whole process was incredibly fun and therapeutic. It's amazing how makeup can transform you not just facially, but also in spirit. For anyone looking to create their own Spooky or Halloween themed look, my biggest tip is to start with a clear concept. What story do you want to tell? Are you a graceful ghost, a mischievous Demon, or a silent Dark Doll? Once you have that, experiment with colors and textures. Don't be afraid to try new things and see what works for your face shape and personal style. And remember to capture it all with a good photo! I'm so glad I got to share this with you all. It truly is one of my favorite looks I've ever created. Let me know in the comments what your favorite part of this look is, or what Halloween character you're thinking of becoming this year!
