Good Medicine Combos for sick days 🤒

We all sometimes have terrible sick days. The days we can’t leave the bed even if we want.
Here is some of my favorites medicine for flu, cold, allergies, stomach and pain, but before we dive into it I would like to bring the attention to something really important:
I’M NOT A DOCTOR, all these medicines are PERSONAL indications and you should visit a doctor if you feeling fever/pain for more than 48 hours. 🙌🏻
1: FLU/COUGH: my favorite combo to fight the terrible flu and even Covid days. NyQuil helps me to fall asleep, super important for the first days, since it seems to increase my cough when it’s bed time.
Sudafed is amazing too. Sometimes, if the flu is hitting me hard, I get the over the counter one. Plus: you should have a thermometer no matter what!
2: COLD: I take DayQuil and NyQuil too. This medicine is a must-have for me together with vitamin C. The Ricola helps a lot my throat, I always get the honey & lemon ones.
3: ALLERGY/NOSE: I don’t have much internal allergy, but I do have external ones in my skin. Benadryl helps me a lot with that, together with Kenkōderm cream: this cream is for psoriasis treatment (I have it), but very good for moisturizer and heal my skin when I have a skin allergy attack too.
4: STOMACH ACID, GAS AND CONSTIPATION: I’m definitely not one of the lucky people out there, I have all three of them. For stomach acid, I normally use pepcid, it’s very fast and efficient.
For the days I have too much gas and I look like a pregnant woman, I take gas-X. After years dealing with it, I started to learn what food gives me more gas, so if I know I will eat something that can make feel that, I already take the gas-x before.
5: PAIN RELIEF: Ibuprofen is the famous medicine out there for pain. I used to take a lot for cramp pain, since it’s very effective, but remember: never take too much ibuprofen and try to always take it with food in your stomach. I got an ulcer because I used to take more ibuprofen than I should.
6: FIRST AIDS: Antiseptic cream and cleanser together with band-aids are a must-have too. I have lots of different sizes and shapes. We never know when an accident will happen. Better safe than sorry.

This proactive approach can further enhance recovery and ensure that you are prepared for any minor accidents or ailments that may arise.
