Crockpot Smothered Cube Steak🔥

Recipe 👇🏾

What you need:

• 4 cube steaks

• 1 green bell pepper + ½ onion (sliced)

• Tony’s Chachere’s Creole seasoning , roasted garlic powder, black pepper and onion powder ( I was out of onion powder when I made these )

• ½ cup All Purpose flour+ 1 tsp each of Tony’s Chachere’s Creole seasoning , roasted garlic powder, black pepper and onion powder.

• Oil (for frying)

• 1 can cream of mushroom soup

• 1 onion soup mix packet

• 2 cups beef broth

How to make it:

1️⃣ Season steaks on each side evenly with Tony’s Chachere’s Creole seasoning , roasted garlic powder black pepper and onion powder.. then dredge cube steaks in seasoned flour.

2️⃣ Pan fry until golden, then drain.

3️⃣ Whisk soup, onion soup mix & 2 cups broth for gravy.

4️⃣ Add steaks to crockpot, pour on gravy, top with peppers & onions.

5️⃣ Cook on HIGH 4–6 hrs or LOW 8 hrs. I cooked for 5 hours on high . Cook to your preference.

Serve hot over mashed potatoes or rice.
