Chairman of the Bangkok Governor's Counsel Chaired the 1st / 2026 Bangkok Public Relations Vertical Conference at Ratconin, Bangkok City Hall (swing pole) by Prathom Lilao, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Bangkok, and Ekrathu Amrapal, Assistant Secretary of the Bangkok Governor and Spokesperson of Bangkok, to deliver policies to the participants.

The Chairman of the Holy Counselor said that in the past, we have tried to push public relations to have a clear and growing Career Path (career path). Today, the world has changed a lot. Public relations must not leave digital as an important tool that can be used immediately. We must have a Mind Map because it does not mislead the way of thought, which has five matters: 1. A new command or strategy must have a Trust (confidence), do not say anything unreliable; 2. Transparent, fast, if slow, will make the wrong thing become a reality; 3. Cities must be connected to people; 4. Use technology; 5. Create a sense of belonging. In public relations, trust must be built, reduce social misunderstandings. Because today negative media is more than real media, public relations must be fast, do not cover up problems, avoid wrongs. Once trust is established and trust is established, it will be co-operated by the people.

The deputy secretary of Bangkok said that he wanted to see the importance of the public relations team because it is very important, not just to tell the story and the media, but to build the confidence of the people to know what the BMA has done. As part of the work to do is to build trust, to reassure the people, because public relations can see what the city is doing and how it affects the people. How can the people engage with the city? It is very important to want everyone to help each other. In the communication City Communications Model, there are 5 E's: 1. Explain is to explain to the public what we are doing for it in easy-to-understand language, not using a complex official language, 2.Evidence requires clear evidence, 3.Empathy must understand the public, know what problems the public have, and then pull the problems to show that we are on the people's side, 4.Engagement to engage the public, 5.Empowerment to visualize that the people can do it, if the people do not do it, it will not be possible to visualize that Bangkok is a city of the people, the city will be good because the people take care of the BMA and the people are the same team, work together.
