ในยุคที่เทคโนโลยีและโซเชียลมีเดียเข้ามามีบทบาทในชีวิตประจำวันอย่างล้นหลาม คนเราจึงมักพบว่าตัวเองเชื่อมต่ออยู่กับโลกภายนอกตลอดเวลาจนแทบไม่ได้หยุดหายใจ จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว การเฝ้ารอแจ้งเตือนใหม่ๆ หรืออัปเดตข่าวสารตลอดเวลา ทำให้รู้สึกเหมือนเรากำลังวิ่งอยู่ในวงจรที่ไม่มีวันสิ้นสุด เหมือนเล่นเกมตีตัวตุ่นที่ต้องจับตาดูว่าคำสั่งหรือสิ่งใหม่ๆ จะมาถึงเมื่อไหร่ แต่สิ่งที่น่าเศร้าคือระหว่างวิ่งไล่ตามสิ่งเหล่านั้น เราละเลยการมองเข้าไปที่ข้างในใจของตัวเอง หลายครั้งที่ทำกิจกรรมหลายอย่างสำเร็จแต่กลับไม่รู้สึกดี หรือไม่แน่ใจว่าทำไปเพื่ออะไร เพราะเรากำลังวิ่งตามสิ่งเร้าอย่างไม่รู้จบ ไม่ได้ใช้ชีวิตแบบมีจุดหมายที่ชัดเจน ความสัมพันธ์กับคนรอบข้างก็เปลี่ยนแปลง จากการพบเจอกันในชีวิตจริงสู่การติดตามอัปเดตผ่านหน้าจอมือถือแทน จนบางครั้งรู้สึกว่าความสัมพันธ์แสดงออกผ่านตัวเลขและข้อความมากกว่าความอบอุ่นและความเข้าใจจริงๆ เพื่อลดผลกระทบนี้ ฉันได้ลองเริ่มปรับเปลี่ยนวิถีชีวิตให้เป็น analog มากขึ้น เช่น การใช้เวลาว่างในการวาดภาพ อ่านหนังสือ หรือออกไปเดินเล่นในธรรมชาติโดยไม่พึ่งพามือถือ การสื่อสารกับคนรอบข้างแบบเผชิญหน้ากันและทำกิจกรรมร่วมกันอย่างมีคุณภาพก็ช่วยทำให้รู้สึกเชื่อมต่อกับตัวเองและคนรอบข้างจริงๆ นอกจากนี้ การตั้งขีดจำกัดเวลาการใช้เทคโนโลยี รวมถึงการอันฟอลโล่หรือเลิกติดตามข่าวสารและคนที่ทำให้รู้สึกอึดอัดหรือกดดัน ยังช่วยเบี่ยงเบนความสนใจไปสู่สิ่งที่มีความหมายสำหรับเราเองมากขึ้น การเชื่อมต่อกับชีวิตโดยแท้จริงคือการให้เวลากับตัวเอง และเดินทางกลับไปสู่จุดเริ่มต้นของความสัมพันธ์แบบหนึ่งต่อหนึ่งที่เราเคยมีในวัยเด็ก ที่ใจเรามุ่งอยู่กับสิ่งตรงหน้าอย่างเต็มที่ และไม่ปล่อยให้เสียงภายนอกครอบงำจิตใจจนขาดสมดุล นี่คือบทเรียนที่ค่อยๆ เรียนรู้จากตัวเอง เพื่อปกป้องชีวิตและความสงบภายในใจในโลกยุคใหม่ที่เต็มไปด้วยการเชื่อมต่อไร้ขีดจำกัด
