จากเหตุการณ์ลักลอบเผาป่าที่เกิดขึ้นในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ ได้ปลุกจิตสำนึกให้กับทุกคนที่รักธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างลึกซึ้งว่า การทำลายป่าไม่ได้ส่งผลร้ายเพียงแค่พื้นที่นั้นๆ แต่ยังส่งผลกระทบต่อความสมดุลของระบบนิเวศโดยรวมรวมถึงคุณภาพชีวิตของคนในพื้นที่และประเทศอีกด้วย ในฐานะที่ผมเป็นคนที่อาศัยและทำงานในภาคเหนือ ได้เห็นด้วยตาตัวเองถึงความเสียหายที่เกิดจากไฟป่า โดยเฉพาะปัญหาหมอกควันที่ส่งผลต่อสุขภาพและการดำเนินชีวิตประจำวัน การที่กระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมถึงหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ได้ใช้เทคโนโลยีโดรนมาช่วยติดตามและระบุตัวผู้กระทำผิด ถือเป็นโซลูชันที่ทันสมัยและช่วยให้การดำเนินคดีมีความรวดเร็วและโปร่งใสมากขึ้น นอกจากนี้ การจัดกำลังเจ้าหน้าที่สายตรวจและชุดปฏิบัติการพิเศษเพื่อเฝ้าระวังและป้องกันอย่างเข้มงวดทั่วประเทศ ถือเป็นมาตรการที่จำเป็น เพราะการเผาป่านั้นไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นแค่ที่เชียงใหม่ แต่ยังมีความเสี่ยงในหลายจังหวัด ทำให้ควรมีการประสานงานและบูรณาการกำลังร่วมกันอย่างเป็นระบบ ประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว ผมพบว่าความร่วมมือจากประชาชนในการให้ข้อมูลและรายงานเหตุการณ์การลักลอบเผาป่า เป็นส่วนสำคัญในการช่วยเจ้าหน้าที่ควบคุมและดับไฟอย่างทันท่วงที จึงอยากเชิญชวนทุกคนที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมมือกันเพื่อป้องกันและลดปัญหาการเผาป่าที่จะสร้างผลเสียให้กับสภาพแวดล้อมและสุขภาพในระยะยาว ท้ายที่สุด นโยบายที่มุ่งเน้นให้ความสำคัญกับการเฝ้าระวังการทำลายทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอย่างจริงจัง ไม่เพียงแต่จะช่วยแก้ไขปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นเฉพาะหน้า แต่ยังสร้างความยั่งยืนให้กับทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและคุณภาพชีวิตคนไทยในอนาคตด้วย
