World "proposed the Lemon Law.
"World" proposed a draft Lemon Law to raise the level of consumer protection. Waste must be replaced.
Miss Suebamas, the loyal minister of the Prime Minister's Office, proposed a bill of liability for the defect of goods... (Lemon Law) to the House of Representatives. The House decided to adopt the principles of the first session. The Council adopted the draft of the Council of Ministers as the main body for its consideration. This was the first law that the Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs, proposed to the House of Commons. Reflecting the Government's commitment to enhance the protection of consumer rights to greater fairness. The bill targeted the problems faced by consumers from defective goods, which today often burden buyers to prove facts and claim rights, setting out the essential principle that sellers are liable in cases of defective goods. Presumably, defects that occur within a specified period of time exist from the delivery date of the product. The buyer does not need to prove it by general goods, appliances, electronic appliances and motorcycles. It is defined as 6 months. The car is defined as 1 year. It also determines the buyer's right to demand repair, replace, discount or terminate the contract and refund. The general product is replaceable within 7 days and appliances, electronic appliances within 14 days from the receipt date. The repair requires the seller to complete the repair of the general product within 60 days and the car within 90 days to build confidence. Citizens make shopping choices, reduce disputes and litigation burdens, encourage business operators to pay more attention to product quality and after-sales care, raise Thailand's consumer protection standards to be universally matched, and create concrete consumer fairness.
