Based on my experience preparing for the CELPIP speaking section, mastering the templates for Tasks 1 through 7 can truly make a difference. Each task follows a reliable pattern, so learning these structures helped me respond confidently and stay within the time limits. For example, in Task 1, which involves giving advice, I found that starting with empathy and sharing personal insights made my answers feel more natural. The template’s suggestion to highlight common mistakes and positive strategies guided me to organize my thoughts effectively. When describing a scene in Task 3, using vivid adjectives and focusing on different areas of the picture — like the foreground and background — helped paint a clear and detailed narrative. This made my description more engaging and showed my ability to observe carefully. Task 5, comparing and persuading, was easier when I focused on key criteria and contrasted two options logically. By explaining why one choice was better with specific reasons and potential benefits, I was able to present a strong argument. Tasks 4 and 7, which involve making predictions and expressing opinions, became simpler after learning to anticipate possible outcomes and support my stance with concrete examples. This approach made my responses sound more thoughtful and convincing. Additionally, the insights from PrepAmigo’s practice system, including feedback on vocabulary and formality, helped me upgrade my word choice for a more professional tone — for instance, replacing "noticeable crack" with "visible fracture" or using "prompt response" to convey urgency. I recommend reviewing each template thoroughly and practicing them with timed rehearsals. This builds familiarity with the speaking tasks and reduces anxiety on test day. Also, integrating variations into the templates lets you sound natural rather than robotic. With consistent practice using PrepAmigo’s templates, you’ll find your CELPIP speaking score improves while feeling more confident and prepared to handle any question they throw at you.
