🥧Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts (or thighs), halved

Salt, pepper, paprika (to taste)

2 Tbsp butter

½ onion, chopped

1 large carrot, chopped

1 celery stick, chopped

⅓ cup all-purpose flour

2 cups chicken broth

½ cup heavy cream

1 double pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook in a skillet until browned and fully cooked. Cool slightly, then shred.

2. In a pan, melt butter. Add onion, carrot, and celery. Cook ~5 minutes, just until fragrant.

3. Stir in flour. Cook 1–2 minutes until golden. Slowly whisk in broth, then add cream. Simmer until thickened.

4. Stir in shredded chicken. Season to taste.

5. Line a pie dish with one crust, add filling, and cover with top crust. Seal edges, cut slits for steam.

6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30–35 minutes, until crust is golden. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.
