Psychiatric Disease # 4 Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is not a very thoughtful person.
But it's people who have to "carry 10 umbrellas" on a sunny day.
"Why worry about that?"
"Not yet born. Stop thinking negative."
Have you ever heard of or been accused of such a sentence?
Admin believes that people who are considered "worried goddesses"
Or "very thoughtful" doesn't want to think too much for yourself, but the brain can't really stop thinking!
Psychologically, Generalized Anxiety Disorder is not a prudent habit or a wakefulness, but a "brain alarm disorder" that is too sensitive and strong.
Imagine...
The "normal level" concern is to carry 1 umbrella out of the house.
On an overcast day
But the "GAD" concern is to "carry 10 umbrellas, put on raincoats, and carry rubber boats" out of the house every day...Both sunny today
The brain of a GAD patient is like "a machine that produces the word 'if that happens...'(What-if) "
Just the boss sent LINE, "Let me talk to you this afternoon."
The brain will start working immediately ➡️ if we fail? ➡️ Will they fire us? ➡️ If you lose your job, where will you pay your home? ➡️ Will you become homeless! (Catastrophizing / Missing the worst disaster)
Carrying 10 umbrellas every day causes "physical pain."
GAD patients usually come with chronic shoulder neck stiffness pain.
Acid reflux, bloating, and insomnia because the brain commands the muscles to flex 24 hours a day.

An epilogue to those around you:
If someone close to you has this condition, don't bother or tell them to "stop thinking too much" because they can't really control the switch in their brain.
Going to a psychiatrist for brain chemistry and psychotherapy (CBT) will help him slowly "put down those 10 umbrellas" and return to his current life happily.
