Repotted her too!

5/3 Edited to

... Read moreRepotting a plant can be a rewarding experience, not just for the health of the plant but also for any plant lover seeking to nurture growth. In my experience, one of the most important steps is selecting the right pot size. Too large a pot can cause water to stagnate, leading to root rot, while too small can restrict root development. When repotting, I always choose a pot just one size larger than the previous, which encourages root expansion without overwhelming the plant. Another vital aspect is the type of soil used. Using a well-draining soil mix tailored to your plant’s specific needs helps prevent overwatering issues. For instance, cacti and succulents benefit from sandy soil mixes, while tropical plants prefer soil rich in organic matter. I often add perlite or orchid bark to improve aeration and drainage. I also found that gently loosening the roots before placing the plant in the new pot promotes better root growth. Avoid damaging roots, but untangling them slightly can help the plant establish in its new home faster. After repotting, watering the plant lightly and placing it in indirect sunlight allows it to recover without stress. It’s normal for some plants to go through a brief adjustment period, but with proper care, they usually bounce back quickly. Overall, repotting not only revitalizes plants but also gives a great opportunity to inspect the root system and remove any unhealthy roots or pests. Sharing these steps has helped many of my friends improve their indoor gardening success, and I hope it can help you too!

How I saved this sad pothos
I recently rescued a Marble Queen–Golden Pothos from my local grocery store. She had probably been sitting on the shelf for months, root bound with barely any soil, yellowing and browning leaves, and covered in dust. Discounted and sad, but full of potential. Most people would’ve walked past, but I

I hate the eos packaging for their body lotions. Why am I cutting apart my bottle to access HALF of the product. This is three bottles worth of “extra” lotion that I repotted into an old moisturizer jar and one of the leftover bottles. I’d say it’s basically a full bottle of lotion atp. Smh. Please
