Check the pool system
Pressure Test is to detect leaks in the pipe system before activation or before concrete is poured. The water pressure is typically pressed to 15 - 40 / psi (pounds per square inch), depending on the duration and standard. Leave for 15-30 minutes. If the pressure gauge does not fall, the pipe does not leak.
The key steps in testing pool pipe pressure can be taken as follows:
1. Equipment to be prepared
* Hose Plug (Plugs): For all pipe end plugs (e.g. water hydrant, pool umbilical, skimmer pipe)
* Pressure Gauge: Water Pressure Gauge
* Air pump or water pump: For use to compress pressure into a pipe system.
* Threaded Tape (Teflon Tape) and Wrench: For Fixing Equipment Tight
2. Test procedure
1.Close all pipe ends: Install the pipe plug (Plugs) firmly around all pipe ends located in the pond.
2.Install the pressure gauge: Connect the pressure gauge to the pipe system on the engine compartment side, or where the pressure can be compressed.
3.Compress Inlet Pressure: Use a pump or air pump. Compress the pressure into the pipe to a range of 15-40 psi.
4. Holding Pressure: Close the valve to hold the pressure and observe the needle on the gauge dial.
5.Analyze the test results:
* Pass: If the pressure gauge needle is fixed, does not move at all, for at least 15-30 minutes.
* Not pass: If the gauge needle falls, there is a leak in the pipe system, the leak point must be found and corrected.
