My curly girl routine/tips

I tried the CG method, and I like a lot of it. But it’s not all for me. And honestly, I didn’t know I had curly hair until I was an adult.

My routine:

- condition hair

- do not dry hair getting out of the shower, use sopping wet hair

- put in leave in conditioner throughout hair

- put curl custard in hair with head upside down

- scrunch upside down then go up and scrunch some more

- if I have time, plop with a t shirt.

Tips:

- don’t shampoo every shower, or even every hair “washing” session, but condition every time you wet your hair in the shower

- don’t use towels on your hair

- comb as little as possible, I don’t comb or brush, I use my fingers in the shower and that’s it

- use a spray bottle of water and reapply leave in conditioner and custard when refreshing

- this has been said 100000x, but no heat

- tshirts are best for plopping (20-30 min)

- let air dry
