Three triangles are the main principles in Buddhism that explain the "truth of life and all things" that all things share three characteristics:
1. Alas (impermanence)
Everything "not constant" changes all the time.
• Our bodies are getting older.
• Emotions change
• Happiness doesn't last long.
👉 Nothing stays the same forever.
2. Every confinement (suffering / unbearable)
When things are impromptu, they cause "suffering."
• Always want good things but can't
• I don't want bad things to happen, but I can't stop it.
👉 Attachment causes suffering.
3. Anatta (true impersonal)
Nothing is truly "ours."
• The body changes.
• The idea changed.
• The identity we think of as us is not constant.
👉 Everything is factorial, not all we can control.
A simple summary.
• Alas = Noon
• All confinement = Unbearable
• Anutta = not ourselves
How to use it in life? 🌿
• Time of distress → Reminder: "It will pass soon."
• Adhesion time → Easier release (all imprisoned)
• Thinking a lot → Understanding that not everything must be pleasing to us (Anutta)
