April Reads 🌸

April was a whirlwind - I read 19 books, and my Kindle's still cooling off. I dove into Jahquel J.'s Delgato Family series, starting with Capone. Capone's intense, protective nature and his complex relationship with Erin had me hooked from the start. Their story is a rollercoaster of emotions, loyalty, and passion. Then came Cappadonna, where Cappadonna Delgato's fierce protectiveness over Alaia, a woman who's faced unimaginable hardships, showcased a love that's both healing and empowering. Capri introduced me to a woman reclaiming her identity amidst chaos, proving that strength and vulnerability can coexist beautifully. Quasim's tale added depth to the Delgato legacy, intertwining family loyalty with personal redemption. I also ventured into Roulette by Grey Huffington, a poetic, introspective journey that lingered in my thoughts long after the last page. And The Love Lyric by Kristina Forest offered a heartfelt exploration of love and creativity, reminding me of the beauty in vulnerability. April fed my soul with stories of resilience, love, and transformation. May, you've got big shoes to fill.
