I often joke that "If I even think about giving another character bloodpoints, Feng gives me the look" – it’s true, I’ve invested so much into her, and for good reason. She truly feels like she 'has everything' you need to survive the trials, whether you're a stealth master or a chase expert. So, why is Feng Min such a powerhouse? It all comes down to her unique perks, which offer incredible versatility and control in various situations. Let's break them down: Technician: This perk is a game-changer for stealthy repairs. Whenever you miss a skill check, it prevents the generator from exploding and creating a loud noise notification, and the regression penalty is reduced. Plus, the sound of your repairs is reduced by 8 meters! This is fantastic, especially if you're still getting the hang of skill checks or want to be extra sneaky while working on gens near the killer. I’ve personally used this countless times to avoid detection, keeping the killer guessing about my location. Lithe: Ah, Lithe! My absolute favorite exhaustion perk. After performing a fast vault, you break into a sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for 3 seconds. This burst of speed is invaluable for creating distance during a chase, reaching a pallet or window for another loop, or even escaping a tricky situation. Learning the best vault spots on each map with Lithe can drastically improve your escape rate. I've had so many clutch escapes thanks to a well-timed Lithe! Alert: When the Killer destroys a pallet or breakable wall, or damages a generator, their aura is revealed to you for 3/4/5 seconds. This perk provides crucial information, allowing you to track the killer's movements, predict their next steps, and plan your actions accordingly. Knowing where the killer is without having to see them directly is a huge advantage for map awareness. Considering her fantastic perk set, is Feng Min good in DBD? Absolutely! Her perks allow for diverse playstyles, making her an excellent choice for both new and experienced survivors. Now, let’s talk builds to maximize her potential. My Go-To Feng Min Builds: The "Uncatchable" Chase Build: Lithe: Essential for breaking chases. Resilience: Grants a 9% repair, healing, and unhooking speed bonus when injured. This pairs wonderfully with Lithe if you take a hit but still need to get things done. Dead Hard: Another exhaustion perk, but can be used for dodging hits or reaching a vault. (Note: Only one exhaustion perk can be active at a time, so you choose when to use Lithe vs. Dead Hard). I often swap this out based on my mood! Windows of Opportunity: Reveals the auras of pallets, breakable walls, and vaults within a certain range. This helps you plan your Lithe activations and overall chase routes. This build focuses on maximizing your ability to run the killer and create pressure. The "Ghost Repairer" Stealth Build: Technician: Your core stealth repair perk. Prove Thyself: Grants a speed bonus to repairs when working with other survivors. Great for pushing gens quickly and safely. Iron Will: Makes your grunts of pain 100% quieter when injured. Paired with Technician, you become incredibly hard to track, even when hurt. Kindred: When you're on the hook, all other survivors' auras are revealed to everyone. When another survivor is hooked, all other survivors' auras and the Killer's aura are revealed to you. This is an amazing informational perk that helps your team make smarter plays. This build is perfect for quietly completing objectives and supporting your team from the shadows. General Feng Min Gameplay Tips: Master Fast Vaults: Lithe is all about those fast vaults. Practice identifying strong vault locations and timing your vaults to maximize your speed burst. Strategic Repairs: With Technician, don't be afraid to tap generators even if the killer is nearby, as long as you're careful. The reduced noise and lack of explosion can buy you precious seconds. Information is Power: Alert helps you know when the killer is breaking pallets or kicking gens. Use this information to avoid them, or to coordinate with teammates for saves or more repairs. Bloodpoint Investment: As my personal meme goes, investing bloodpoints into Feng Min is always worth it! Level her up to unlock her teachable perks and mix and match to find what suits your style best.
