🌑 grayscale after 6pm turned my screen black & white every evening. it sounds small but scrolling just becomes... boring. that's the point.
🚫 social media blackout 9pm – 9am instagram, tiktok, everything — fully blocked overnight. at first i kept opening my phone out of habit and just staring at a locked app lol
⏱️ set a daily screen time budget gave myself a hard limit per app. seeing the timer pop up mid-scroll is genuinely uncomfortable — which is the whole point.
📚 actually replace the habit this was the real one. willpower alone doesn't work — you need something else to reach for. for me it was reading + journaling in the evenings.
