Highly Recommend a DIY Maternity Shoot!!

Hi all, sorry for the MIA lately. Have been busy baking a bun🤣

anyways, my husband and I did a spontaneous maternity photoshoot while passing by Photomatic at Funan. At first we didn’t want to spend on the professional maternity shoots (simply because I didn’t feel like myself lately - have been feeling too swollen to take pics 😅)

But I’m so glad that we decided to give this a try! It was such a hassle free experience! We were thankfully colour coordinated that day (as it was our anniversary) and the photos turn out so well!!

I love it!!! So all first time moms, if you would like to have a keepsake of the pregnancy highly recommend this!!! I love that it was so personalised and my husband I was so involved in coming up with the different poses!!

It’s not just about the photos but also about making memories together. We found it to be an extra bonding activity especially meaningful when pregnancy feels overwhelming. One of the best parts was feeling more at ease in a private setting with just my husband and me, allowing us to truly be ourselves. The service at Photomatic is budget-friendly, with packages like a 20-minute session offering unlimited photos and various print options starting from $35, which is great compared to traditional professional shoots. Planning your outfits in advance to coordinate colors can make the photos even more special and personalized. Also, you have the flexibility to choose any point in your pregnancy for the shoot, so you can pick when you feel best. This flexibility made it hassle-free and enjoyable for us. Overall, a DIY maternity shoot offers a meaningful and affordable way to document this beautiful chapter, creating timeless memories for both you and your partner.

Skipped the studio and shot my own with the Canon R50 📸 (highly recommend!). Baby shoots aren’t easy, you’ve gotta be quick before they get fussy, especially with hair accessories 😅 But I love how the photos turned out, and best part? Endless pics without paying for every session! #MyPOV #bab
