✨ This accidental protein coffee might be my new obsession 🤎☕️
If you’re trying to get more protein in without drinking another boring shake…you HAVE to try this.
I was craving an iced coffee but also needed protein, so I started throwing things together…and somehow created the perfect Cinnamon Caramel Vanilla Protein Coffee. 🤭
It’s creamy, sweet, tastes like a coffee shop drink, and gives you 13g of protein with just half a protein shake.
What I used:
☕ Nescafé Instant Coffee (I used decaf because it was late, but regular works too!)
💧 Hot water
🥛 ½ Fairlife Core Power Vanilla Protein Shake (13g protein)
🤎 Cinnamon Dolce Skinny Syrup
🍮 Sugar-Free Caramel Drizzle
☁️ Caramel Macchiato Cold Foam (store-bought or homemade)
How I made it:
1. Mix your instant coffee with hot water.
2. Add ice.
3. Pour in half of the protein shake.
4. Add a splash of Cinnamon Dolce syrup.
5. Drizzle in a little caramel.
6. Top with cold foam.
7. Sprinkle cinnamon on top if you’re feeling fancy. ✨
Measurements?
Girl…I measured with my heart. 😂 I just kept tasting until it was perfect.
Save this for your next coffee craving ☕🤎 and let me know if you come up with a better name because I’m seriously considering making this my daily drink.
... Read moreIf you're eager to blend your love for coffee with a protein boost, this homemade Cinnamon Caramel Vanilla Protein Coffee is a game changer. I personally love starting my day with this drink because it feels indulgent yet helps meet my daily protein goals without the heaviness of a full shake. Using Nescafé Instant Coffee makes it super convenient — especially when you don't have time for brewing fresh coffee. Using half a Fairlife Core Power Vanilla Protein Shake not only adds creaminess but also packs 13 grams of protein, which is ideal for muscle recovery or keeping you full.
What truly elevates this drink are the flavor enhancers like the Cinnamon Dolce Skinny Syrup and sugar-free caramel drizzle, which give a coffee shop quality sweetness but with fewer calories. The Caramel Macchiato Cold Foam on top adds a velvety texture and luxurious finish. If you’re feeling creative, sprinkling a little cinnamon on top enhances the aroma and adds a touch of spice.
This protein coffee is great as an afternoon pick-me-up or post-workout treat. For best results, blend everything thoroughly to maintain the frothy texture and layered flavors. You can adjust the syrup and caramel amounts according to your sweetness preference. And if you want to avoid caffeine late in the day, decaf instant coffee works wonderfully without sacrificing that rich coffee flavor.
I recommend experimenting with different protein shakes if you want to vary the flavors — chocolate or mocha protein shakes can add a new twist. Also, homemade cold foam can be made by frothing milk with a handheld frother or blender, giving you control over foam thickness and flavor. Making this protein coffee at home is an excellent way to skip pricey coffee shop versions while still enjoying a delicious, nutritious beverage. Give it a try, and you might find it becoming your new daily obsession!
