Some days are less busy than others🤩
I had a few back to back meetings this morning and took a few minutes to chat before we collectively decided to abandon our homemade lunches and go to Cava😂

In the fast-paced world of corporate life, especially as an executive assistant, managing a tight schedule can be quite challenging. Having back-to-back meetings is a common part of the job, and it often leaves little room for personal breaks or socialization. However, I’ve found that even on the busiest days, taking just a few minutes to connect with colleagues can make a huge difference in maintaining morale and reducing stress. One lunchtime, after a series of continuous meetings, my team and I decided to ditch our usual homemade lunches and head out to Cava for a change of pace. This spontaneous decision not only provided us with a delicious meal but also created an opportunity to unwind and share conversations outside the usual work topics. Such moments of impromptu team gatherings can enhance workplace relationships and foster a supportive environment. Additionally, timing plays a crucial role. Noticing it was around 12:30 pm, we chose to sync our break with this natural midday pause. Aligning lunch breaks with colleagues ensures everyone gets a chance to recharge simultaneously, boosting productivity for the afternoon sessions. I recommend anyone navigating a busy office schedule to actively incorporate short breaks that encourage social interaction. It doesn't have to be a long lunch—just a few minutes can refresh your mind and improve your outlook. Also, stepping away from homemade meals occasionally to try new places can bring variety and enjoyment into the everyday routine. Overall, balancing a hectic meeting calendar with meaningful break times can transform your workday experience, making it more enjoyable and sustainable over time.
