I don’t want to GET wet 💦

Wearing quick-drying clothing or carrying a lightweight rain jacket packed away in a bag can be a lifesaver during sudden downpours. Additionally, if you must keep moving, it's helpful to walk briskly but not run, as running tends to splash more water onto clothes and can increase soaking. After you reach a dry spot, changing out of wet clothes quickly prevents discomfort and potential colds. Also, protecting your belongings by placing electronics or important papers inside ziplock bags or waterproof compartments will avoid damage. While it’s impossible to stay completely dry without an umbrella in heavy rain, combining these practical steps helps minimize discomfort. Over time, you get better at anticipating weather changes and carrying the right gear to avoid these tricky situations.
