Crispy Air Fryer Sweet Chili Salmon Bites
These Air Fryer Sweet Chili Salmon Bites are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in the perfect sweet-heat glaze. Quick, easy, and perfect for busy nights!
Ingredients:
1 lb fresh salmon (skin removed, cut into bite-sized cubes)
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
1. Prep the salmon. Pat salmon dry and cut into even bite-sized cubes.
2. Season: In a bowl, toss salmon with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
3. Air fry: Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
Cook salmon bites for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway through, until slightly crispy on edges.
4. Sauce it up: In a separate bowl, mix sweet chili sauce and soy sauce. Toss the cooked salmon bites in the sauce while hot.
5. Add 1 cup white rice to your bowl, salmon bites, and fresh sliced cucumbers on the side.
My Personal Tips:
1. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; it helps them crisp up better.
2. Pat the salmon dry before seasoning for maximum crisp.
3. If you want extra caramelization, air fry 1–2 more minutes after tossing lightly in sauce.
