What’s on the plate:
Golden fried catfish (perfectly seasoned + crispy edges)
Baked mac & cheese (cheesy, creamy, and not dry!)
Quick Recipe Breakdown:
Catfish:
* Catfish fillets
* Season with Creole seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder
* Dip in egg wash + a splash of hot sauce
* Coat in seasoned cornmeal (add a little flour for extra crunch)
* Fry at 350°F until golden and crispy
Mac & Cheese:
* Elbow pasta, cooked
* Butter + flour (for roux)
* Milk + heavy cream
* Sharp cheddar + mozzarella (add as much cheese as your spirit says 😌)
* Season with salt, pepper, a pinch of paprika
* Bake until bubbly + golden on top
