... Read moreHealing is truly a personal and nonlinear process. From my own experience, I've found that the hardest part is not the physical or emotional pain itself, but the expectation that we must feel progress all the time or present a perfect image of recovery. It's important to remember that healing isn’t about achieving comfort immediately or avoiding moments of chaos—it’s about finding calm amid that chaos. When healing gets hard, it’s natural to want to give up or feel stuck. But this struggle is temporary, a passage rather than a permanent state. Imagine it like a traveler crossing a challenging stretch of terrain—this part may be tough, but it’s not the entire journey. Frustration is just a signal that you care deeply about your wellbeing, not a sign of failure. I encourage anyone on a healing journey to stop 'building a home' in their frustration. Instead, approach these feelings as something to walk through, not something to live in. It can help to practice nervous system regulation techniques, such as mindfulness meditation, deep breathing exercises, or gentle movement practices. These methods assist in soothing the nervous system, reducing feelings of overwhelm, and promoting a sense of stability. Another important aspect is embracing the messy reality of healing without judgment. When feelings or symptoms flare up, allow yourself the grace to acknowledge them without harsh criticism. Healing is a process of finding balance, not perfection. If you feel stuck, consider reaching out for support or exploring alternative healing modalities that resonate with your spirit. Often, combining conventional and alternative approaches can provide a more comprehensive path to wellness. Remember, your healing journey is uniquely yours. Difficult seasons won't define you; they shape you and lead you to a deeper understanding of resilience and self-compassion. Keep going, even on the days when it feels impossible—there is growth in every step forward.

Unbecoming to BECOME!!!
