Brand New Blog Post!🫶

I decided to be very transparent on my struggles with codependency in my newest blog post.

Codependency is a cycle that I have been trying to break for years, yet have already passed it on to the next generation in some ways 😔 Fortunately, I have been able to recognize it, and I can start from where I am to continue my journey of recovery and teach my son what he is willing to learn in hopes that he can break the cycle.

Codependency is something that is not often discussed in our communities, it's something we learn how to cope with. In my blog post I discuss what codependency is, how it has impacted me, and steps I took and continue to take to overcome it. Link is in my bio!

Many individuals find themselves in patterns of behavior that revolve around excessive reliance on others. It often begins in childhood, where one learns to prioritize others' needs over their own, leading to feelings of inadequacy and fear of abandonment. Recognizing these patterns is the first step toward healing. In my blog post, I discuss the various manifestations of codependency, such as people-pleasing and controlling behaviors, and their impacts on mental health. Understanding the roots of these behaviors is essential for breaking free from the cycle. In addition, I share practical steps that can help anyone struggling with codependency, such as seeking therapy, establishing healthy boundaries, and practicing self-care. The journey to recovery is not linear; it's filled with ups and downs. However, with commitment and support, it is possible to rebuild oneself and foster healthier relationships. Embracing self-love and understanding is crucial in this process. By sharing my experience, I hope to encourage others to reflect on their habits and seek a path toward healing and personal growth.
