“Just” a marathon✨

I get the comment a lot about it being “just” a marathon. Nothing frustrates me more about this commentary. I understand a lot of people think that it’s just another marathon. But, the Boston Marathon is one of the most prestigious marathons in the world! The vibes of Boston are undescribable. The hard work that you put in to qualify alone is an accomplishment. Qualifying is an accomplishment. Training is an accomplishment. Missing that deadline even though it’s hard, it is an accomplishment. Qualifying and getting accepted into the Boston marathon is an accomplishment! Being accepted into the 130th Boston Marathon is incredibly humbling! It being the hardest qualifying time and one of the hardest cut offs is incredible. I know that I am capable of more and I am excited to train hard this winter to prepare for 130th Boston Marathon! I know that it is hard to qualify and not get accepted in to the marathon but, this is your chance to keep pushing harder to work even more to get accepted into 2027! I’m excited to share my training and hope that I can help others in their journey to qualify for Boston! Stay tuned and I can’t wait to share my journey to Boston 2026!

I am so proud to say I ran my first Half Marathon! I put in a lot of training and hard work. I almost couldn’t run this because 3 weeks before my race I developed a stress injury. I seen doctors, had an mri, went to physical therapy, recovery therapy, and did everything I could to run this race.
