But Pop music and Hip-hop still held strong, proving that sometimes you just need those catchy, mainstream tunes. I was a bit surprised to see Electronic dance music (EDM) and Rock making appearances too, especially since my moods were all over the place! It really paints a picture of my musical landscape. Speaking of moods, my recap showed a pretty even split between Pumped-Up tracks, Dramatic tunes, and surprisingly, a significant portion of Sad songs. It's funny how music can perfectly articulate what you're feeling, even when you don't quite realize it yourself. When I needed to get things done, those pumped-up tracks were my go-to. For introspection or just a good cry, the dramatic and sad songs were always there. It’s a great way to understand your emotional journey through the soundtrack of your life.
