ODAAT: Day 2 Results

See previous post for before.

I feel like this sounds cliche af but cleaning these spaces is like cleaning my soul. I had a full day of errands. I live in a rural location so getting simple tasks done is often a minimum of an hour of driving round trip. And that’s on a good day. I also decided to cook dinner for my husband’s co-workers on a whim 😅 so as soon as I got home with the kiddos, I was cooking.

Dedicating an hour or so to cleaning this space grounded me and gave me a sense of satisfaction and self-care I didn’t even realize I needed. I also LOVE cooking so it was a very gratifying ending to my busy, busy day.

Today was good.

*bonus photo of the drawer I purged today that I forgot to take a before photo of.

I am taking the holiday weekend to relax but still be mindful because I’m not stopping now. I’ll be back to chronicling on Tuesday ✌🏽
