Planted the seeds from a Cantaloupe 🍈

2024/5/26 Edited to

... Read moreGrowing cantaloupe can be a rewarding experience, especially if you follow some essential gardening tips. Cantaloupe thrives in warm weather, so make sure to plant seeds after the last frost. Prepare your garden by loosening the soil and mixing in compost; this will improve drainage and provide essential nutrients. Ensure to plant cantaloupe seeds about 1 inch deep and 24-36 inches apart in rows. Water the seeds thoroughly and provide consistent moisture as they germinate. It’s important to monitor for pests and diseases, which can impact your harvest. Consider using mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Additionally, since cantaloupes require plenty of sunlight, choose an area that receives full sun for most of the day. As the melons grow, support them with nets or trellises if you’re short on space. Harvest the cantaloupes when they are slightly soft to the touch and have a sweet fragrance. With patience and care, you’ll enjoy the fruits of your labor with fresh cantaloupe right from your garden!

Same seeds, different light 🌱
I planted the same marigold seeds in the same planter, but the distance from the grow light made a big difference. Top plants were directly under the lamp and grew bigger and bushier. The farther from the light, the smaller the plants became. Light really is plant energy. #gardening

🌿 Growing What God Planted: Walking in the Fruits of the Spirit
There’s something so powerful about slowing down and really looking at the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23). These aren’t just “good qualities” to try on when life is easy, this is the evidence of God actively working in us. Love that chooses others even when it’s inconvenient (John 15:12).
