Copycat Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Ingredients:
2 c Flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp fresh Parsley, chopped
3/4 c Milk
1 egg
2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
GARLIC BUTTER TOPPING
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp parsley
1 tbsp garlic powder
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium sized mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, cheese and garlic powder. Set aside. In a small bowl whisk together egg and milk. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a crumbly dough forms. Add 1-2 tsp cold water to form a dough ball in the mixing bowl. (I use my hands to incorporate water into the dough) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and roll dough pieces no bigger than palm-size and place on baking sheet, spaced a couple of inches apart. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until tops of biscuits begin to brown. For the garlic butter topping..during the baking of the biscuits melt butter and stir in garlic powder and parsley. After removing biscuits from the oven grab a basting brush or bbq mop and brush the tops immediately with the garlic butter sauce. Serve with dinner! ❤️
