Hi there! 💕 I'm Sara, and I want to share my skin journey with you. I struggled with my skin in silence for so long, and if you relate to that…you don’t have to anymore. Welcome to my page! I’ll give you the full breakdown on how I transformed my skin barrier. I have a ton of products and routines to get through, but let’s start with my favorite. The literal nectar of gods. TRETINOIN!!!🌸💆‍♀️

Tretinoin isn't the only product that helped my skin, but I owe 100% of my hormonal acne clear-up to it. Not only is tretinoin the only scientifically proven anti-aging product on the market, it also helps with acne! 🌟 So…prevent wrinkles while minimizing pores, boosting collagen production, and helping clear up breakouts?!? Are you kidding me! 😍✨

How to Start with Tretinoin:

1. Get a prescription and talk to your doctor🩺

2. Start with a small amount, like a pea-sized dot 🌱

3. Apply on clean, dry skin 🧴

4. Use it at night and always wear sunscreen during the day ☀️

5. Be patient and consistent! 💖

When I first started using the topical cream, I applied it before bed every 3 days. After two weeks, I increased my use to every 2 days. By week four, I was using Tretinoin every night. ✨🧖‍♀️

The “purge” isn’t as bad as you think it will be. And regardless, it won’t compare to the years you'll spend with elastic, glowing, wrinkle-free skin! 💕👸

From my experience, this purging stage was manageable and definitely worth enduring for the long-term benefits. If you’re using tretinoin gel 0.01%, start slowly — I began applying a pea-sized amount every three nights, allowing my skin to adjust. Sunscreen is non-negotiable. Since tretinoin increases sun sensitivity, daily broad-spectrum SPF protects your skin while preventing future damage. I combined tretinoin with gentle moisturizing to maintain my skin barrier and avoid irritation. Many wonder about combining tretinoin with other acne treatments like clindamycin. I recommend consulting with a dermatologist to tailor a routine that works best for your skin type and concerns. Remember, consistency is crucial; noticeable results generally appear after several weeks to months. Tracking your progress with before-and-after photos can be motivating. Expect improvements in acne reduction, pore minimization, and smoother, more youthful skin. Embrace the process and celebrate every small win on your skincare journey!
