Cajas National Park ⛰️ Cuenca, Ecuador
We had the most amazing hike at Cajas National Park outside Cuenca, Ecuador! Luke and Cohen (6 & 4) were so excited, they ran ahead exploring rocks, plants, and the path ahead of us while we soaked in the foggy mystical magic that this park was when we arrived. By the time we finished the Laguna Toreadora loop (top elevation 3,928m!) the sun came out and the mist danced away from the lake. It was all of ours first high-altitude hike, and the boys did incredible, more than I even expected! Now they can’t stop asking when we’re going hiking again. Raising tiny hikers and outdoor lovers is calling and I’m cool with that 🤪✌🏼⛰️✨
¡Tuvimos una caminata increíble en el Parque Nacional Cajas, a las afueras de Cuenca, Ecuador! Luke y Cohen (de 6 y 4 años) estaban tan emocionados que corrieron por delante explorando rocas, plantas y el sendero que teníamos delante mientras nos sumergíamos en la magia mística y brumosa que este parque tenía al llegar. Para cuando terminamos el circuito de la Laguna Toreadora (¡cota máxima de 3928 m!), salió el sol y la niebla se disipó del lago. Fue la primera caminata de gran altitud para todos, y los niños lo hicieron increíble, ¡más de lo que esperaba! Ahora no paran de preguntar cuándo vamos a hacer senderismo de nuevo. Criar pequeños senderistas y amantes de la naturaleza me llama la atención, y me encanta. 🤪✌🏼⛰️✨
