How I DIY my IKEA pieces to look ✨vintage✨
Every furniture piece I liked was either designer or custom carpentry 🫢… My wallet fervently said no but my heart said YES 💓. So I decided to paint my IKEA pieces and wow 🤩!! Now I’ve got the ✨vintage vibes✨ to fit my home’s speakeasy bar theme. Would you do it? 🛒Product Items (per quantit

Find excessive carpentry too expensive? Try this instead!
There’s lots of cool carpentry features to maximise storage ie spice rack, in-built drawers, but if you don’t have the budget for these, you can easily fix your reno regrets with these items! Extendable cutlery organisers, custom drawer pegboard organisers, magnet hooks, lazy Susans, and bamboo

How we accidentally cut our restaurant spending by half
I honestly thought expensive cookware was for atas home cooks. Why spend a few hundred dollars on a Dutch oven when a pot from IKEA works too? Turns out I was wrong. After cooking with one for the past year, I finally get it. Being able to sear meat on the stovetop and finish it in the oven m

How I designed a super functional service yard!
Carpentry would’ve cost me $3000 but I spent $300+ on this laundry system that works extremely well for me. 🤩 I fit 4 appliances within the small space: - Washing Machine - Dryer - Dishwasher - Robot Vacuum I also have sufficient storage space to store: - Laundry essentials - Detergen

Not the kind of service yard you’ve seen before
Designed with functionality in mind 🤩! Originally we were quoted $3000 to do carpentry in the service yard. I decided to thrift furniture on Carousell and buy a dishwasher stand from Taobao, cutting our furniture cost to almost 10% of the original quote! All in all, I think we did good in hav

Transformed my IVAR cabinets with IKEA DIY
To save money on office cabinets, I decided to not do carpentry. Armed with a paint roller and overalls, I started painting my IKEA IVAR cabinets! I sanded it down, added primer, painted, and varnished it. Also, I painted wooden moulding into a warm gold metal finish, measured the surface of th
