Transparent post!! I don’t want anyone to be confused about what I had done. As some of you may know I had extra breast tissue in my armpit which came from me having children. For some it could simply be fatty tissue but in my case it was breast tissue. Medically known as Axillary Breast Tissue or Ectopic Breast tissue. I dealt with it for almost 20 years and it’s finally gone 🙌🏾 My days of being ashamed or scared to wear my arms out are gone!! The embarrassment from what others may have thought of seeing me like that are gone!! The wide looking back is gone 🤣 I’m about to get on yall nerves 😂😂
Axillary breast tissue, medically referred to as ectopic breast tissue, can often go unnoticed until symptoms arise. This condition results from the presence of breast tissue in the axilla, or armpit, and it can sometimes be mistaken for fatty tissue. Many women experience this as a consequence of hormonal changes, especially after childbirth. For those seeking solutions, surgical removal is an option that can significantly enhance quality of life. It's important to consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice and to understand the treatment options available. Sharing experiences can often provide comfort to others facing similar challenges, emphasizing the importance of openness and support within the community. Overcoming such medical conditions allows individuals to embrace their bodies with confidence and pride, leaving behind the stigma attached to them.
