Ima start hitting “Not Interested “ on fitness posts on Instagram. I will not be deceived like the masses

In my experience browsing Instagram fitness content, I've become increasingly cautious about the posts and programs being promoted. There's a noticeable trend where many influencers push fitness plans without demonstrating solid training knowledge or having extensive gym experience themselves—often less than two years. This is concerning because it means a lot of advice lacks credibility and might not be safe or effective for everyone. I've also noticed some influencers not being transparent about surgical enhancements, which can create unrealistic body expectations. While surgery is a personal choice and can be beneficial, honesty about such interventions is important to maintain trust and help followers understand that fitness journeys vary widely. Another platform where I've found slightly more honest fitness influencers is TikTok, but even there, being critical and cautious is necessary. The fitness content space on social media can often feel like the 'wild west,' with many voices competing for attention but not always prioritizing accuracy or safety. From my perspective, it’s valuable to focus on sources that provide clear evidence of expertise, offer transparent information, and encourage sustainable, healthy fitness habits rather than quick fixes. Always look for qualified trainers or professionals who back their advice with real training experience and knowledge. And remember, it's okay to hit 'Not Interested' and curate your feed to see content that truly supports your fitness goals safely and effectively.
