Back from Japan! Time to Reset!
Just got back from Tokyo and I’m officially in reset mode.
Whenever life gets busy, I come back to my digital planner to get everything out of my head and back into a plan.
What’s the first thing you organize after a trip?

Travel brings excitement but also leaves you with a mental clutter that can be overwhelming once you’re home. Like many, I find the key to regaining control is a thoughtful reset using my digital planner. After coming back from Japan, I took time to unpack not only my luggage but also my thoughts and priorities. My first step is wellness reflection—checking in on how I feel physically and mentally after the trip. This helps me understand my energy levels and what I need to improve, whether it's better sleep, hydration, or mindful relaxation. Next, I review my finances, tracking any expenses from the trip and adjusting my budget accordingly. This step is crucial to prevent any surprises and keep my financial goals on track. I then set my vision board for the weeks ahead, incorporating new inspirations from my travel experience. It’s refreshing to see fresh ideas laid out, keeping motivation high for personal and professional goals. Priority setting comes next—what projects or tasks deserve my immediate attention? Using my digital journal and apps like GoodNotes, I create dedicated dashboards, such as a wedding planner dashboard if needed, to organize tasks efficiently. I also like to add visual elements like hand-drawn stickers to personalize the experience and engage creatively. The process of digital planning not only helps to clear my head but also gives me a structured roadmap. If you’re just back from a trip, consider these steps to reset your life effectively. Digital tools can transform that overwhelming post-travel feeling into proactive planning and renewed focus.
