What magnesium should you use in pregnancy?

Magnesium is such a great tool in pregnancy!! But did you know there’s 3 types?

I didn’t know this for a while, and was honestly taking the wrong one (still helped me with my headaches and to stay regular tho lol). It’s not a terrible mistake to make, but it’s better to make sure you choose the right one to target your specific goals.

Trying to sleep better at night? Glycinate.

Headaches or constipation? Oxide or citrate will work best.

Beyond helping me drift off to sleep more easily, I found it really eased those annoying pregnancy muscle cramps that used to wake me up in the middle of the night. Many people also find Glycinate beneficial for managing feelings of anxiety and depression during pregnancy, and it even supports bone and heart health – truly a multi-tasker! I started with a lower dose and gradually increased it until I found what worked best for me, always under the guidance of my doctor.
