HOLY GRAIL TIPS FOR NAUSEA
First trimester is a wild ride! So many struggle with nausea, I know I did. Here’s 4 things that helped me with the nausea!
1. Candies with ginger and b6!! These saved my life if I was out or at work and not near any food. I always had these in my bag with me. So yummy and I would say more effective than a mint!
2. Sea sickness bands! The pressure on your wrist somehow relieves the nausea. When I was having a bad moment with it I would press down on the button for extra pressure and relief! I would sleep in these and wear them to work. I didn’t go a day without them!
3. As soon as I woke up I would eat a cracker. This got me ahead of the nausea and helped me get out of bed so I could get up and go eat something like…
4. Greek yogurt!! Protein is so helpful with nausea and it helps you stay full. PLUS it is so crucial for your baby. Protein from meat/eggs was incredibly difficult for me to eat at this stage - the smells and heaviness was very aversive. So starting my day with Greek yogurt was a great way to sneak in some protein with my toast 😂 another great option for breakfast is chicken noodle soup! Try it!
