First thing you need to do is measure your room write it down then you will need to measure the items in your room (bed, nightstand, etc.) for them you will need to measure length and the with of the item you need to write them down as well. Don’t forget to measure your door as well because you will need to know how far you can move stuff. The normal is 1 square is equal to 12 inches I doubled it to 1 square equals 24 so it was bigger. Now not everything that is in your room will be on the grid lines but get as close as you can. Start by drawing your room out so you can tell how much you want to upscale it if you want to.
