Touristy? Yes. Worth it? YES! We did this as part of the Osaka Amazing Pass and it was such a fun part of our trip. You need to redeem your pass in exchange for a ticket, so go to the ticket stand on the dock in advance and ask for tickets to the time slot at sunset. We only had to wait 15 mins
