They ain’t pass to bro😭💔
Anyone who's played basketball knows that feeling all too well—you're wide open in the corner, ready to shoot or make a move, but the ball never comes your way. That moment can be frustrating and disheartening, especially when you trust your teammates to see you and make the right pass. From my experience, this usually happens when there's a breakdown in communication or when the player with the ball gets cold feet about taking the risk. Sometimes, the teammate with the ball is focused on driving closer to the basket or is pressured by defenders, which makes them hesitant to pass out wide. To improve these situations, I’ve learned that clear verbal and non-verbal cues are key. Shouting out for the ball or calling a play can help, as can establishing trust during practice so everyone knows they will be supported when making a pass. It's also helpful to keep moving and showing for the ball, so you stay on your teammates’ radar. Another tip is to work on your own shooting and decision-making ability, so teammates feel confident passing to you in critical moments. When players have confidence in each other’s skills and understand the game plan, those wide-open opportunities become scoring chances rather than missed connections. Overall, experience and communication are what turn 'POV: you wide open in corner' moments from missed opportunities into memorable highlights on the court.
