My favorite health hack ❤️
Sore throat making life difficult but you don’t want to keep sucking on lozenges or downing cold medicine? Try this simple yet effective hack!
1tbsp honey (if you can get local it’s worth the splurge)
1tsp garlic (use more or less as you prefer)
A dash of cayenne or cinnamon (or both if you’re feeling extra brave)
Lemon juice (amount depends see below 👇🏻 for more info)
Mix it all together and knock it back!
My preference is to juice a whole lemon and add the above ingredients to it but as I woefully an lemonless at this time I settled for the lemon juice from the store. The amounts of everything above typically vary for me but I mixed this up and took it before heading out the door and once I get home I’ll be taking some before bed. It’s far more efficient than anything else I’ve taken or tried.

Sore throats are often a sign of underlying issues and can be quite bothersome, especially during cold seasons or when traveling. This simple health hack not only helps in soothing your throat but also provides a boost of antibacterial and antiviral properties. Honey, known for its soothing qualities, works wonders in easing throat irritation, while garlic, a natural antibiotic, can help combat infections. The addition of cayenne pepper may bring some warmth, promoting blood flow and acting as a natural expectorant. Lemon juice provides essential vitamin C, enhancing your immune response and helping your body fight off illnesses. Combining these ingredients creates a potent drink that can be taken anytime you're feeling under the weather. To complement this remedy, staying hydrated and resting is crucial. Herbal teas, especially those infused with black tea, can further enhance your recovery by providing warmth and additional antioxidants. Consider pairing this health hack with warm, soothing teas or broths to amplify its effects. Remember, while these natural remedies can provide relief, it's essential to consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen.
