My new single, Just Another Beer, is now available to stream on all streaming platforms.

This is more than just a song to me—it’s the first one I ever wrote, nine years ago, during a time of deep reflection on my dad’s battle with alcoholism and how it affected our family. I chose to release it today, May 3rd, on the 12-year anniversary of his passing.

My dad carried a lot of trauma in his life, including witnessing his brother get hit by a car when he was the same age I am now—26. That pain, among others, never left him, and over time, it took its toll. He lost his life to suicide after a long and difficult struggle.

Although time has passed, the pain never truly goes away for us. It continues to affect all of our lives in ways both seen and unseen.

I don’t often speak publicly about my dad’s death, and I rarely perform this song live because of how personal it is—but I felt like I wanted to finally share it into the world. If you give it a listen, thank you. It means more than I can say.
