How to go from Tracking Cals to Intuitively Eating

As someone who used to do both, intuitively eating will always be on top. I've honestly helped see more goals on myself after not having so much stress during tracking.👀

Start by just being mindful about what you put in your body. Healthy eating mainly!🥬

It's important to know when to differentiate intuitive eating vs just eatinf whatever you want whenever. Give yourself grace but also understand what your body would genuinely feel its best with. If the urge is REAL, go ahead and enjoy! Just know balance!🫶🏼

Similar to the first slide, try to choose healthier nutrient dense foods!

It is totally okay if you don't finish everything in your plate, and it is totally okay if you want to go for seconds. Don't stress! Just know when your body is satisfied instead of super full!

Hope these helped!✨

... Read moreTransitioning from strict calorie tracking to intuitive eating can be liberating and transformative. Intuitive eating emphasizes listening to your body's hunger cues rather than restricting yourself to specific calorie limits. It's essential to be mindful about how the foods you choose affect your overall well-being. Start by incorporating more nutrient-dense foods, which are packed with vitamins and minerals, into your meals. This helps nourish your body while allowing you to enjoy a variety of flavors. One of the most significant aspects of intuitive eating is giving yourself permission to indulge without guilt. When cravings strike, acknowledge them and allow yourself to enjoy your favorite foods mindfully. Remember that balance is crucial; it's about cultivating a healthier relationship with both food and your body. Pay attention to how different meals make you feel, and tune in to your body's signals of hunger and satiety. Learning to stop eating when you feel satisfied is a valuable skill that takes practice but can lead to a more enjoyable eating experience. Additionally, don’t stress if you sometimes leave food on your plate or go back for seconds. Intuitive eating encourages flexibility and listening to your body’s needs. Engage in this journey with kindness towards yourself, and embrace the learning process as you navigate this healthier approach to eating.
