Calorie deficits don't have to be miserable! I have here a few nutrition principles I follow that help me stay in a deficit:
16:8 Fasting: this does NOT mean you need to have your first meal at 12 and last at 8. You can also do 11 am and 7 pm, 10 am and 6 pm. Make it fit your schedule!
Low Carb & Sugar: Honestly it really does help to do this. Do NOT cut them out completely, but minimizing it has helped me see results in a week.
Creating nutrient dense meals: the worst mistake is to try to eat a little meal to save on calories. Create big high volume meals such as the poke bowl and it will keep you full and a lot more satisfied for a lot longer.
